We treat adolescents and young adults (from age 14) struggling with psychological strain or mental illnesses. Because the family environment plays a particularly important role at this stage of life, we also involve parents and family members in treatment – where appropriate and desired. Treatment begins with a thorough diagnostic conversation, in which we carefully assess the young person’s situation and rule out other possible conditions. Building on this, we jointly develop a holistic, individual treatment plan.
Treatment combines high-frequency individual and group therapy with a broad range of specialized and movement therapies, and – where appropriate – the involvement of the family. Our goal is not only acute stabilization, but lasting recovery: helping young people regain their self-worth, develop new coping strategies, and return step by step to an age-appropriate everyday life with school, friendships, and future prospects.
